Make sure you can vote in the European ReferendumPosted: May 10, 2016
On 23 June the British people will be asked to respond either yes or no to the question:
Should the United Kingdom remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union?
The people’s responses to this simple question will have a major impact on our country’s future. If we vote to leave the EU, there will be no going back on this decision.
If you feel you need more information before you vote on this important issue, look out for our street stalls where people will be on hand to answer your questions. More information on places and dates later.
Are you registered to vote in the European Referendum?
If you registered to vote for the local elections on 5 May, you are also registered to vote in the referendum.
If you did not previously register, the deadline for registering to vote in the referendum is Tuesday 7 June.
