Portsmouth Labour Party Standing up for you and our city
Sue on the doorstep with local residents who are pointing out the local issues to her.
Mrs Ibbotson said;
“the cuts to Police budgets will not improve our situation in Drayton and Farlington. Local burglaries will only increase and the speeding along Lower Drayton Lane. Motorbikes racing around in the dead of the night.”
If elected Sue will work with local people and the Police to address these issues.
For example organising a speed watch programme with the Police and residents having their voices heard.
Other residents also discussed the impact of building 81 new houses on the Old Dairy site. What sort of infrastructure, school places and doctors’ surgeries have been worked into these plans?
It could mean Drayton surgery having to absorb 100-200 new patients with budgets already stretched.
