Portsmouth Labour Party Standing up for you and our city
The Portsmouth Labour leader has accused councillors of “minimising” litter and fly-tipping problems in the city. At a recent council committee meeting Independents said they believe Labour are ‘staging’ pictures of fly-tipping, and the Lib Dems said Labour are ‘exaggerating the issue to create a poor impression of Portsmouth.’
Cllr Charlotte Gerada is leading a city wide Labour campaign to clean up our streets, speaking to local residents about their concerns, taking council officers to view the problems in person, organising litter picks, reporting flytipping, and looking at actions taken by other local authorities to improve street cleanliness.
Only Labour has a plan to clean up our streets.
