The Post Office has announced that the Cosham branch is at risk of closing. This popular branch is one of 115 (known as crown branches) earmarked for closure as part of the last remaining sites directly owned by the Post Office.

Portsmouth North MP, Amanda Martin, has launched a petition to show the strength of feeling in Cosham. Together with Cosham Labour councillors, Mary Vallely and Asghar Shah, Amanda has been delivering leaflets to local residents and collecting signatures in Cosham High Street.
